Rita was born July 28, 1950 in Houston, Texas to parents Lee, Jr. and Billie Mae Turman.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Milton "Bubba" Turman, James Turman, Delbert Turman; sister, Patricia Wade. Rita is survived by her children, Rita Maria and Bill Geaslin, Jr.; brother, Dean Turman and Ginger Ray; sisters, Linda Dear, Carolyn Morgan; sister-in-law, Sandy Turman; and five grandchildren.
A time for visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, June 13, 2014 in the chapel of Carter Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be held at 12 noon Saturday, June 14, 2014 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Milam County, Texas under the direction of Carter Funeral Home.
