Tony Eugene Perkins, age 72 of Edmonton, KY, died Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 2pmCT, Saturday, June 21, 2014, at Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street, Edmonton, KY, with burial in the Harper Cemetery. Visitation will be 4pm-8pmCT, Friday, June 20, 2014 and after 9amCT, Saturday at the funeral home.
He was the son of the late Harold Gobel and Gladys Velma Fraser Perkins. Tony was a member of the Grace Union Baptist Church and retired from the Kentucky State Highway Department.
He is survived by his wife Marilyn Fields Perkins, and the following:
Two daughters: Tammy and husband Brian Johnson of Juniper, Florida; and Stacie and husband Andy Beaver of Jonestown, Pennsylvania
Three step sons: Donnie and wife Kim Jessie of Mt Washington, KY; Stuart and wife Sandra Jessie of Cave City, KY; and Troy and wife Katye Jessie of Edmonton, KY
One brother: Harold and wife Jean Perkins of Hodgenville, KY
Eleven grandchildren
Nine great grandchildren
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a grandson, Alex Smith.
