The Rev. Carl Wayne Knouse Sr., 82, of Sarasota, formerly of Kenya, Africa, died Jan. 2, 2010.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Fellowship Baptist Church, Bradenton, with funeral services following. Interment will be at Palms Memorial Park.
Survivors include a son, Wayne Jr. of Sarasota; daughters Mishael Jones of Bradenton, Lenette Eveleth of Sarasota and Shanti Schrock of Sarasota; a sister, Laura Kupples of Lewistown, Pa.; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Carl was predeceased by his wife of 57 years, Daris, who passed away in September 2009.
The Rev. Knouse went to be with the Lord Jan. 2 after years of faithful service.
