Jack loved baseball starting from the time he played ball in the pasture with his sister Betty. He learned his skills from Roy Flynn, an old semi pro ball player. Jack coached all three of his sons during Little League. He could be found at every St. Joe Saints home game and he knew Joe by name. Jack was a lifelong Cardinals fan. He enjoyed his many trips to watch them play with his son Kevin.
Jack was also an avid bowler. He bowled two 300 games and multiple 700 series.
Jack especially enjoyed Sunday dinners with his family. His favorite part was taking his grandchildren on walks to the nearby playgrounds, looking for "treasures" along the way. Jack proudly served in the Missouri Air National Guard from 1955-1963. He was a Truck Driver for seventeen years at Crouch Trucking and a member of the Teamsters Local 460.
Jack was preceded in death by his daughter, Stacie Ann; his father, John; his mother, Geraldine; and his brothers, Conrad and Bernard.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Charlene; his sons, John, Kevin (Theresa), and Greg (Lisa); his daughter, Jacque Banks (Dave); and his sisters, Theresa Gach (Dave) and Betty Draut.
Jack also has ten grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Services: 10:00 A.M. Thursday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Interment Mount Auburn Cemetery.
