Shirley Ann Doswell-Helmuth, 49, of Fort Wayne, director of in-home services at SCAN, died Wednesday, Feb. 10, 1999, at home.
The Fort Wayne native had received her drug and alcohol abuse counselor certification.
Surviving are her husband, Steve; stepdaughters Camilla and Ashley Helmuth, both of Fort Wayne; her mother, Helen R. Pyle of Fort Wayne; a brother, Ted Pyle of Fort Wayne; sisters Pam Burgo and Sue Helmuth, both of Fort Wayne; and one grandchild.
Services are 11 a.m. Monday at Elzey & Haggard Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, with calling from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in Covington Memorial Gardens.
Memorials are to Cancer Services of Allen County or Fort Wayne Women's Bureau.
