Timothy Rex Bradley, of 225 Arrowhead Drive in Madison Heights, formerly of Nelson County, went home to be with our heavenly father after a courageous fight with cancer.
Born Sept. 7, 1960, he is survived by his wife, Brenda Cole Bradley; his daughter, Courtney Scott and John Scott, of Yorktown; stepson, Jeffrey Koontz and grandson, Justin Koontz, of Poquoson; mother, Jean Davis Bradley, of Lovingston; sisters, Doris B. Campbell, of Lynchburg, Linda B. Blackwell and David Blackwell, of Lovingston, Dorothy B. Hoenes and Tom Hoenes, of Arrington, Lisa B. Slone and Ken Slone, of West Virginia. Tim was preceded in death by his father, Lawton Bradley; and brother Carl Bradley.
He enjoyed doing upholstery, being a volunteer firefighter and playing Canasta. Tim was a devoted family man and husband. He never met a stranger. Special thanks to his special friends, Ricky Harris, Paul Richards, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Lee McClellan and Denise Carter.
In lieu of flowers, the family will be receiving memorial contributions. Family and friends are welcomed at the residence. A celebration of life service will be held, Saturday, June 14 at Calvary Baptist Church in Lovingston at 2 p.m. Family will meet and greet with friends from 1 to 2 p.m.
