Gary Lee Noel, Sr., 56, of Pedro, passed away Monday, June 16, 2014 at his residence. The Lawrence County, Ohio native was born December 4, 1957, the son of Jessie Perry Noel of Pedro and the late John Noel. He is also survived by his wife of 36 years, Debra Blagg Noel, whom he married August 27, 1977.
Gary attended Rock Hill High School and was self employed roofer. He enjoyed watching his granddaughters play basketball and spending time with all of his grandchildren. He volunteered as a coach and umpire at Rock Hill and District 11. He was of the Bapitst faith.

three sons: Gary (Casey) Noel of Kitts Hill, Craig (Brooke) Noel of Ironton and Joshua (Mariah) Noel of Pedro
three brothers: John (Donna) Noel of Hanging Rock, Larry (Kathy) Noel and Rick (Karla) Noel all of Kitts Hill
four grandchildren: Kyleigh Noel, Jaylon Noel, Haven Noel all of Ironton, and Brayden Noel of Chesapeake, Ohio

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday June 21, 2014 at Phillips Funeral Home, 1004 South Seventh Street, Ironton, Ohio with Revs. Stephen Blagg and Ronnie Blagg officiating. Burial will follow in Lawrence Furnace Cemetery and visitation will be Friday from 6-9PM at the funeral home.
