Avalon "Scottie" Radford, nee Kingston, 83, of Morrison,
Colo., formerly of Granite City, Ill., born October 10, 1921, in East St. Louis, Ill., died Monday, April 18, 2005, at Bear Creek Nursing Home, Morrison, Colo.
Mrs. Radford was an ordained minister as well as a
homemaker. She was a member of the Tri-City Assembly of
God Church in Granite City, Ill., as well as a past president
of Women's Aglow.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William C. Radford, whom she married Aug. 10, 1938; her parents, Harry and Eva, nee Allison, Kingston; a daughter, Sue Patterson; and two grandsons, Jesse Belin and Steven Patterson.
Surviving are a son, William D. (Sandra) Radford of Collinsville, Ill.; a daughter, Cynthia (Tom) Belin of Bailey, Colo.; a sister-in-law, Audrey Bogner; two granddaughters, Stephanie Patterson of Tampa, Fla., and Christina (Jon) Chase of Goldsboro N.C.; three grandsons, William, Michael,
and Eric Radford all of Collinsville, Ill.; and a great
grandson, Brenden Radford of Troy, Ill.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 22, 2005, at Valhalla-Holten Funeral Home, Belleville Ill.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 23, 2005 at Valhalla-Holten Funeral Home Belleville, Ill., with the Rev. Edward Walker officiating. Interment will be in Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, Ill.
