Jewel of the Old Dock Community was the daughter of the late John W. Horne and Lula Vinson Horne. Mrs. Formyduval was a member of the Palmyra Baptist Church and was a teacher at the Old Dock Elementary School for 29 years. Survivors include her husband, Ishmael Formyduval of the home; sons, Ishmael Formyduval Jr. of Southport, Kim Formyduval of Columbia, SC; daughter, Jewel Formyduval Dart of Columbia, SC; brother, James Caldwell Horne of Autryville, NC. She died at the Columbus Regional Healthcare System at age 83.
