Eugene John Michaelson, 81, of Danville, passed away on June 16, 2014, at Pleasant Meadows Christian Village in Chrisman.
He was born on Feb. 16, 1933 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the son of John William and Sylvia Marie (Stecker) Michaelson. He was preceded in death by his parents and one infant brother, Jack Michaelson.
He is survived by one brother, Glenn Michaelson.
He went to Indiana University where he received his Bachelor's Degree in education. He taught physical education and general health in the Los Angeles California School District for many years before retiring in 1993.
