"Darren Scott Edwards, of Euless, was born on December 19, 1965, in Lubbock, Texas. Darren grew up in Turkey, Texas and was Valedictorian of his graduating class from Valley High School in 1985. Following his high school graduation, he went on to receive his Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Economics from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. Upon completion of his undergraduate degree, Darren received his Master's Degree, Magna Cum Laude in Agricultural Finance from Texas Tech. While attending Texas Tech University, Darren was an active member of Alpha Gamma Rho, and served two terms as fraternity president.

"On July 11, 1992, Darren married Lisa Elaine Rolfe from Santa Anna, Texas. The couple were married in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Coleman, Texas. Upon completion of he and Lisa's education from Texas Tech University, the couple relocated to Fort Worth, Texas, and made that their home. Darren was employed by the Farm Credit Administration (FCA) as an auditor for federally regulated loans for 18 years. Darren was a member of the Boozefighters's motorcycle club and enjoyed riding his Harley. Darren was also an avid scratch golfer, and he and Lisa were active members of the Glen Garden County Club in Fort Worth, Texas. Darren also enjoyed playing his guitar and singing Elvis Presley music. He performed as a young Elvis impersonator. On January 6, 2006, Darren was injured in a motorcycle accident which changed the course of he and Lisa's lives forever. His injuries were great as he suffered a devastating traumatic brain injury. Darren passed away peacefully on June 17, 2014.

"Darren is survived by devoted and loving wife Lisa, his mother Margie Edwards, brother Clay Edwards, and sister Angie Edwards, fraternal grandmother Wiletta Ritter, mother-in-law Betty Rolfe, sister-in-laws Cynthia Rolfe Hill (Ben Hill), and Teresa Rolfe-Cantu (Sue Cantu), nephews Josh Upchurch and Shawn Edwards, nieces Adriana Hill Bush and Tori Edwards, loving aunts Janet Edwards and Beth Mills, and other loving family members.

"Darren was preceeded in death by father Gary Edwards, brother Jodi Edwards, maternal grandparents Jess and Beatrice Mullen, and fraternal grandfather Roy "Eddie" Edwards.

"Memorial Services were held at Henderson Funeral Home in Santa Anna, Texas at 11 a.m., June 20, 2014, with burial at the Santa Anna Cemetery in Santa Anna, Texas.

"Pallbearers were Josh Upchurch, Ben Hill, John Rendon, Greg Wells, Todd Mills and Chuck Mullin."
