Sarah DeVries, 89, of Momence, died Saturday, July 29, 1989 at Momence Meadows Nursing Home.
Visitation will be from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. today at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Road, Lansing.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Bethel Christian Reformed Church in Lansing. The Rev. William Heyser will officiate.
Burial will be in Oakridge Cemetery in Lansing.
Memorials may be made to the Back to God Hour.
Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Theodore and Jean DeVries of Fair Oaks, Ind. and Edward and Helen DeVries of Momence; one daughter and son-in-law, Dorothy and Henry Gorter of Beaver Dam, Wis; 26 grandchildren; 65 great-grandchildren; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard and Alice Hoekstra of South Holland, Harry and Ann Hoekstra of Demotte, ind. and Robert and Ruth Hoekstra of Lansing; and one sister and brother-in-law, Kate and William DeJong of Lansing.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew DeVries and a daughter, Winifred Eenigenburg.
She was a charter member of the Bethel Christian Reformed Church.
