She was born in Nebraska and attended Nebraska State Teacher’s College. She taught school in Nebraska before moving to Salem in 1934. She worked for the Oregon Department of Motor Vehicles and provided home health care in the Salem community. She enjoyed quilting, arts and crafts, and gardening.
A daughter preceded her in death, and her husband, Arthur, died in 1982.
Survivors include her son, Ray Erickson of Salem; daughter, Kathy Marr of Salem; brother, Lester Warren of Bay City; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Bible Center Fellowship Church. Private interment will be at City View Cemetery. Arrangements are by Virgil T. Golden Funeral Service.
