Finger Lakes Times, Monday, October 11, 1982:

GENEVA - Mrs. Wilma J. Beattie, 57, of RD 1, West Lake Road, died at Geneva General Hospital Friday.

Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Bennett Funeral Home Inc. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Herbert Tennies, pastor of Seneca Number Nine Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Glenwood Cemetery.

Mrs. Beattie was born in Geneva, June 4, 1925, daughter of Mrs. Delia Oughterson Snook and the late LeRoy Snook. She had lived in this area all of her life and was a member of Seneca Number Nine Presbyterian Church and she was employed for many years at the Newark Developmental Center. After her retirement there, she was employed at the Seneca Nursing Home, Waterloo.

Surviving besides her mother are one son, Gerald H. Beattie of Geneva; and three grandchildren.
