August 6, 1918 in S.L.C., UT., Elaine arrived into this world. On June 8, 2014 in St. George, UT., Elaine was united in eternal life into God's loving arms. Elaine will rest next to her loving husband.

Elaine's soul has been reunited with her parents, Arnold and Essie (Pope) Blackner, brothers, Robert and Louise; sister's Effie and Madelon; son, Duane M. Rollins; great-grandson, Jeffrey McAvoy Jr. and great-great-granddaughter, Tiffany Amber McAvoy.
Elaine is survived by son's LaMont, Robert, Steve, Don and their wives; daughter's Janina, Judy, Arlene and their husbands; grandkids, great-grandkids, great-great-grandkids; cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and extended families.

Elaine spent her life in Wyoming, Utah and California. She married at seventeen to Melvin W. Rollins and after twenty-one years they were divorced. Married Arlin D. Fowler and always talked about how she was the luckiest woman in the world and when God made Arlin he broke the mold. This marriage came with a ready-made family, her two and his five.

Elaine enjoyed genealogy, family and "boy"… could she sew. Elaine loved going to family reunions, seeing all the families coming together, laughing, sharing stories, moments and memories. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with all her grandkids and great-grandkids.

She was raised as a member of the L.D.S. faith, in which she was active throughout her life. Elaine served in many positions and teachings of the church.

In 1960 Arlin and Elaine were sealed for time and all eternity in the temple.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 12, 2014 in the Little Valley Ward Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 2668 Crimson Ridge Rd. St. George, UT. A viewing will be held on Thursday, June 12 from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. in the Chapel.

Interment will be in the LaVerkin City Cemetery, LaVerkin, UT.
