Beulah M. Hathaway, 90, of Gower, formerly of Plattsburg, MO, died Thursday, January 29, 2004, at the St. Joseph, MO, hospital.

Born on August 10, 1913, in Westville, OK, Mrs. Hathaway was a homemaker and member of the First Baptist Church, The Friday Club, Rebekah Lodge and Plattsburg Business and Professional Women, all of Plattsburg.

She was married to Simeon Hathaway for over 50 years when he preceded her in death in 1987.

Also preceding her in death were her parents, George and Mary (Bennett) Bryan; a son, Billy Hathaway; and several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include a daughter, Mary E. McClelland of Gower; a son, Robert Hathaway of Unionville, MO; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, January 31, 2004, at Bailey & Cox chapel, Plattsburg. Burial will be in Green Lawn Cemetery, Plattsburg. There is no scheduled visitation. The family suggests memorial gifts to Camp Quality in Stewartsville, MO.

Mrs. Hathaway will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
