RACHEL DIESEM
Services for Rachel M. Diesem, 86 of 1711 35th St., will be held Wednesday afternoon at the O'Donnell Funeral Home. Burial will be in Grand View Burial Park.
Mrs. Diesem died June 24 at St. Elizabeth Hospital.
She was born Feb. 27, 1898 in Shelby County to John A. and Martha Helen (Stewart) Davis. She was married to Clifton P. French Sept. 21, 1919. He died Jan. 10, 1969. She later married Leslie L. Diesem Nov. 1, 1975 in Hannibal, who survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Geraldine Suchland of Troy and Mrs. Helen Sturtevant of San Diego, California; six grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
She was retired after working 33 years at the International Shoe Co.; was a member of Arch Street Methodist Church, the American Legion Auxiliary, Ruth Rebekah Lodge, the Women of the Moose and St. Elizabeth Hospital Auxiliary.
