Stella Eva Bellamy was born on September 24, 1895 in Marion County the daughter of Robert A. and Olive Brady Black and passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 1977 at Methodist hospital in Des Moines from complications of a broken hip.

She was united in marriage to Clarence Bellamy on November 10, 1915 in Chariton and the couple first made their home on a farm in Marion County. Later they lived in Knoxville, moving to Bussey in 1932. They resided in Rose Hill for the past 34 years and had just recenlty moved to Knoxville.

Preceding her in death were her parents, a brother Floyd and a sister Joy Flanagan.

Left are her husband Clarence, one son Robert of Silver Springs, Maryland, a daughter Virginia Merritt of Reseda, California, five grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; two sisters Mrs. Daisy Duncan of Pleasantville and Mrs. Vernon (Cleo) Hill of Knoxville, one brother Raymond Black of rural Knoxville.
