Eliza Gladys Moser Jensen, 87, Beloved mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, died September 19, 1998 in Ogden Utah.
She was born October 21, 1910 in Coltman, Idaho, the daughter of Francis and Elise Stucki Moser. Eliza married James Oren Jensen on March 7, 1931 in Idaho, later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Oren died November 6, 1989. She was a visiting teacher and a nursery leader in her ward. She was an excellent homemaker. She will always be remembered for her raisin cake, potato salad, carrot pudding and her Christmas bread. She enjoyed gardening, dancing and watching the Jazz and Walker Texas Ranger. She is survived by her children, Georgina (Roy) Shaw; Francis (Helen); Val (Shirley); Deanna (Darrel) Steadman; Ken (Linda); Mardean (Ronald) Parsons; Colleen Anderson; Anita (Terry) Coots; Lynette (Rich) Van De Merwe; sisters, Lucy Wilderburg; Elmina Harper, of Holladay, UT; Lorraine Jenkins and brother, Joseph Moser, of Idaho Falls, Idaho; 26 grandchildren; 60 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by husband, Oren, parents, 12 brothers and sisters, daughter, Carol Ann, one granddaughter; two great-great-granddaughters.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, September 23, 1998 at 1 p.m. at the Murray 29th Ward Chapel, 6300 S. 700 W. Friends may call Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Memorial Estates Mortuary, 5850 S. 900 E. and Wednesday one hour prior to the services at the church. Interment will be at Mountain View Cemetery, 7800 S. 3115 E.
