Bruce A. Wilkinson, 63, of Plattsburg, died Sunday, Dec. 13, 2009, at North Kansas City Hospital, Kansas City, Mo. Bruce was born Aug. 31, 1946 in Carrollton. He lived most of his life in Plattsburg. He married Pam Storm Aug. 7, 1965; she preceded him in death on May 23, 2002. He married Donna Conrad Aug. 17, 2005; she survives of the home. Bruce was a farmer. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Plattsburg; the Missouri Cattleman’s Association, and the Farm Bureau.
Survivors include: his daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly Bonner, and her husband, Steve, of Kearney; two sons and daughters-in-law, Mark Wilkinson, and his wife, Sharon, of Overland Park, Kan., and Corey Wilkinson, and his wife, Amanda, of Omaha, Neb.; his step-son, Brian Sigg, and his wife, Kristen, of Plattsburg; his sister, Carol Cowherd, of Blue Springs; and his grandchildren, Derick, Kourtney, and Emily Bonner, of Kearney; Sarah, Ruth, Elizabeth, and Mary Margaret Wilkinson, of Overland Park, Kan.; Rylan and Hayden Sigg, of Plattsburg.
In addition to his first wife, his parents, Duane and Joyce (Baggs) Wilkinson, and his brother, Steven Wilkinson, preceded him in death.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the First Christian Church Building Fund.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 15, at the First Christian Church in Plattsburg. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 16, at the church. Interment will be in Green Lawn Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Cox Family Funeral Service in Plattsburg.
