Bobbie Jo Briley Conlee passed away peacefully at home late Thursday evening, June 12, 2014, surrounded by her loving family. She was 87 years old. Service: 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Chapel at Robertson Mueller Harper with the Rev. Gwyen Driskill-Dunn officiating. She will laid to rest on the Briley Family plot in North View Cemetery, Winters. Born in Kennett, Mo., on Oct. 5, 1926, Bobbie was the daughter of Charles and Lucy Briley. Her family relocated to Texas where they eventually settled in Winters in Runnels County. She was a 1943 graduate of Winters High School. In 1946, Bobbie married James H. Conlee and moved to Fort Worth where she raised her children. Bobbie was a member of University United Methodist Church and worked at University Bank until retiring in 1989. She enjoyed traveling, playing cards and dominoes and watching her beloved Texas Rangers. Family was always first, and they all shared these things with her. Her family would like to thank the Covenant staff for their loving care; especially Dr. David Capper, Tahnya Green, RN, and Patricia Herera, CNA. She was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Rebecca Luckie; sisters, Glenna Briley, Davida Neece and Estelle Briley; and brother, Edward Briley. Survivors: In addition to her children, James and Linda Conlee, Charles and Kathy Conlee, Elizabeth Conlee Granger and Robert and Pat Conlee, Bobbie is survived by her grandchildren, Jim and Kelli Conlee, Anne and Jim Lowery, Cheryl and Patrick Provost, Matt Conlee, Katie and Lopaka Wilson, Stefanie and Denny O'Connell and Camron and Jennie Conlee; 18 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins and their families; and many, many friends.
