OBITUARY:Chronicle Telegram Elyria, Ohio 31 Jan 1999--Ann P. Dimitroff Was practical nurse---Ann P. Dimitroff (nee Pruchnicki) 85, of Sheffield Lake died Saturday, January 30, 1999 at Autumn Aegis Retirement Community in Lorain after a long illness. She lived at the community since last August. Born in Lorain, she lived in the Lorain and Sheffield Lake areas her entire life. Mrs. Dimitroff attended Clearview Schools and graduated from the Lincoln Institute for Practical Nursing in Chicago. For many years, she worked in private care nursing, caring for and assisting patients in their own homes. She was a member of St. Thomas The Apostle Catholic Church in Sheffield Lake. Mrs. Dimitroff enjoyed crafts and playing bingo. Survivors include daughters Mary Lou Judge of Vermilion and Loretta Bursley of Gilbert, AZ; four grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Mike, in 1977; her parents, Jacob and Mary (nee Zaramba) Pruchnicki; brothers Stan, Mike, John, Frank, Adam, Pete, Tony, Joe and Steve Pruchnicki; and sisters Veronica Pruchnicki and Frances Cano. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM Monday at the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Ave, Lorain, where services will be at 9:15 am Tuesday. A Mass will be at 10 am Tuesday at St. Thomas The Apostle Catholic Church, 521 Harris Road, Sheffield Lake. The Rev. Stephen L. Shields will be celebrant. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Lorain, Ohio.
