MRS. GEORGE H. PARRISH
Rutledge, Mo., May 3. — Mrs. Nancy Druzella Parrish, 78, of Rutledge died this morning at 3 in the home of a daughter, Mrs. Elsie Taylor of Rutledge. She had resided with the daughter the last year.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 in the Rutledge Baptist church. Burial will be in the Pauline cemetery here.
Mrs. Parrish was born at Knox City April 20, 1887, a daughter of George and Mary Jett Stevens [sic]. She was first married Jan. 4, 1905 to Thomas Norton, who died Sept. 1, 1948. She was married to Mr. Parrish in 1949 and her died July 17, 1962. She was a member of the Baptist church and a lifetime resident of Knox county.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Taylor and Mrs. Kenneth (Leta) Ewing of Rutledge; a son, Glen Norton of Santa Ana, Cal.; two half sisters, Mrs. Annie Hamilton of the state of Oregon and Mrs. Rachel Goodwin of Quincy, Ill.; two half brothers, Bert Smith of Edina and Roscoe Smith of Rutledge; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters, a half brother and a grandson.
