Antoinette L. Thomas (nee ) "Auntie" passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side, on Saturday, May 24, 2014. Age 89.

Survived by her loving husband of 69 years, Edwin F. (Forrest) Thomas; her three nieces and a nephew, Maureen Chytracek, Jeffrey Majetic, Pamela (Tom) Burns and Mary Beth Bertotti; two great-nieces, Marley Majetic and Sarah McCartney; four great-nephews, Michael E. (Lisa), Marc (Cassandra), Matthew and Scott Chytracek; great-great-nieces, great-great nephews and a very close family friend, Joann King also survive.

Preceded in death by a daughter, Dr. Cheryl Lynn Thomas; her parents, Vincent and Mary (nee Chiapetto) Bertotti; a sister, Margaret Majetic; and a brother, Peter Bertotti.

Member of the Cantigny Post #367 Ladies Auxillary and the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #300. She enjoyed bowling and was a wonderful baker.

A loving and devoted wife, mom, sister and "Auntie" who will be dearly missed by all.

A special thank you to the caregivers, Becky and Tammy, for their kindness, compassion and dedication given to both "Annette" and Edwin.

Inurnment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery will be held at a later date.
