Lillie Pauline Peace, 88, passed away on June 15, 2014 at the Josie Harper Hospice House in Omaha, NE.

She was born in Mansfield, Illinois. She was a long-time resident of Corbin and was employed at Archie Leger's grocery store. She had resided in Nebraska for the past 30 years. She loved reading (especially her Bible), sewing, and cooking for her family.

Pauline is preceded in death by husband, Roland; parents, Barrett and Amanda Singleton; eight brothers, Gordon, Mont, Curt, Sam, Tony, Wilburn, Earl, and Paul Singleton; and two sisters, Mae Belle McKinney and Joyce Ann Singleton.

She is survived by her daughter, Janet Clouse (Steve), and two granddaughters, Paige and Kelly Clouse, all of Nebraska; one brother, Bobby Singleton, of Cincinnati; and five sisters, Kay Evans, of Harrodsburg, Virginia Toepfert, of Cincinnati, Velma Kay Decker, Norma Jean Shock, and Irene Kennedy, all of Columbus; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Saturday, June 21, at 10:30 a.m., at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Corbin.

Visitation will be on Friday, June 20th, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, where messages may be written to the family at www.vankirkgrisellfuneralhome.com
