Visitation begins at 2 p.m. today at the mortuary.

Hazel Moriarity [sic] was born in Washington, Iowa. She married Miles B. Alkire in 1918 in Des Moines. He died in 1958.
Mrs. Alkire was a past president of the Lady Lions and had served as a deaconess at First Prebyterian Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Gannett, Minneapolis, Minn.; five grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Mabel Dungan, Des Moines, and brothers Clint Moriarity [sic], Omaha, Neb., and John L. Moriarity [sic], Davenport.
