Originally buried in the Mausoleum in the Ziebigk section of Dessau, the remains of the last rulers of the House of Anhalt were taken secretly by night in 1958 for political reasons and reburied in the Ziebigker Cemetery in a common grave, marked only by a simple wooden cross. She was reinterred in the the Altargruft in the Marienkirche in Dessau in 2019.
