Josiah was of Lunenberg, Mass.
Josiah was a town officer and representative, "a very influencial man." At the time of his death he held land in Winchester, Hinsdale, Westmoreland, Chesterfield, Surry, Swanzey and Richmond in New Hampshire in addition to land in Westminster, Vt. where he was one of the original grantees. Hannah and their children inherited his estate, his will dated Sept 1784.
