Funeral services will be 12 noon Wednesday, June 18, 2014, at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Willow Mount Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors one hour prior to service Wednesday.
She was born October 25, 1930, in Petersburg, Tennessee, to the late Wallace and Rosie Lee Buchanan Greer. She was retired from Empire Pencil Company and held membership in Petersburg Church of Christ.
Mrs. Harper was preceded in death by her husband, Jake Harper, in 1999, and a daughter, Barbara Harper Whitener in 2009.
Survivors include three daughters, Clara Heath, and her husband Ed, of Antioch, Shirley Vaughn, and her husband Calvin and Rita Wilcox, and her husband Edward, all of Murfreesboro; four sons, J.W. Harper, and his wife Margaret, of Houston, Texas, Rickey Harper, and his wife Lisa, of Murfreesboro, and Wade Harper, and his wife Ann, and James Harper, all of Shelbyville; a brother, Joe Greer, and his wife Piccola, of Louisville, Kentucky; fourteen grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.
Feldhaus Memorial Chapel assisted the family with the arrangements.
