SSG Lance Michael Chase died January 23, 2006 in Baghdad, IRAQ. He was born September 6, 1973 in Oklahoma City, OK to Michael and Dana Chase. He married Kristen Wimmer February 14, 1994 in Oklahoma. They resided at Ft. Hood, TX and had two sons, Brett, age 11 and Trevor, age 9. SSG Lance Michael Chase was a dedicated father, husband, son, friend, and Soldier. He served his country proudly with his fellow Soldiers in Delta 1-12 4th Brigade 4th ID at Ft. Hood, TX. Survivors include his wife Kristen, their sons, Brett and Trevor; his father, Michael Chase of Oklahoma City, OK; his mother, Dana Chase of Midwest City, OK; his sister and brother-in-law, Carrie and Jon McKee of Tuttle, OK; his Grandma Virginia Chase of Midwest City, OK; his grandparents, Audrey and Lillian Haynie of Midwest City, OK; his niece and four nephews; and extended family as well as his military family and his many friends. Lance was preceded in death by his Papa Fred Chase, who he loved dearly and is now reunited with in Heaven. SSG Lance Michael Chase died while keeping his country safe and free. Funeral Service will be held 10:00am, Thursday, February 2, 2006 at Meadowood Baptist Church in Midwest City with burial to follow at Arlington Memory Gardens Cemetery.
