Mr. Bachman was born in Knoxville, Iowa, to Frank and Mary Vanderlinden Bachman on February 22, 1941.He was a self-employed diesel mechanic.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Bachman of Knoxville, Iowa; a son, Frank Lee Bachman of Council Bluffs, Iowa; a daughter, Stephanie Bachman of North Bend, Neb., and two sisters, Maxine DeJoode of Pleasantville, Iowa, and Bonnie Jean Merrill of Beijing, China, and a grandson, Tucker Franklin Hecht of North Bend, Iowa.
Memorial service was held December 11, 2000 at Adcock Funeral Home Chapel in Fairland.
