PFC US ARMY∼Tom Lord was an Irishman from New York, a retired policeman. He was staunchly patriotic, loved the rich history of our nation, and in fact has been recorded in that history as the last casualty of the Civil War, having been shot a few years ago in a Civil War re-enactment event. Tom was a Yankee, but he was the most lovable Yankee you will ever meet!
Tom and his beloved wife Nancy shared 14-1/2 years of happy married life, having been wed on November 19, 1999. Two of Tom’s special passions were the Salvation Army Soup Kitchen and the Wounded Warrior Project.
Tom and his wife Nancy joined Suffolk Christian Church on February 15, 2004, and was an enthusiastic member of the Chancel Choir. He was a Mason and a member of Eastern Star.
He served his country in the U. S. Army, 1955-1957.
