Services for Lloyd "Doc" Todd, 73, of 1680 E. Smithville Road, who died Monday at his residence, will be 2 p.m. Friday at Day Mortuary, with Rev. Everett Forner and Rev. Edward Helton officiating. Burial will be in Clear Creek Cemetery.
Born April 20, 1908, in Monroe County, he was the son of Loba and Lizzie (Dewar) Todd. He was a quarry worker for the Victor Oolitic stone quarry for 45 years, before retiring in 1975; a member of the First Assembly of God Church, and a 50-year member and past master of the Masonic Lodge in Stanford. He also was a member of the Laborers and Hod Carriers Union No. 909.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda (Hazel) Todd; a son, Donald Todd of Winterhaven, Fla.; a daughter, Donetta Emmons of Bloomington; four brothers, Floyd and Gilbert Todd, both of Bloomington, James Todd of Unionville and Wayne Todd of Smithville; four sisters, Thelma Sipes of Columbus, Opal Butcher, Beryl Dick and Dorothy Hazel, all of Bloomington; and two grandsons.
He was preceded in death by a stillborn daughter and a brother.
Friends may call 7-9 p.m. today and 2-9 p.m. Thursday at the mortuary. Masonic services will be 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the mortuary.
