Margaret was born about 1543, in England, probably in Great Limber parish, Lincolnshire. She was the daughter of Edward & Joan Wood. Margaret was still a child when her father died in late 1551. On July 18, 1563 in St. Peter's Church, Great Limber parish, Lincolnshire, she became the wife of Thomas Tenney, son of Henry & Criane Tenney. Margaret & Thomas were the parents of at least eleven children. Thomas was a farmer, or yeoman, in Great Limber. Margaret died in March of 1598 and was buried in the churchyard of St. Peter's in Great Limber on March 26, 1598.
