Russell G. Strickland, Jr., 23, passed away unexpectedly Friday, June 13, 2014, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Born March 4, 1991, in Conway, Russell was the son of Russell G. Strickland, Sr. and Melissa Todd Strickland.
Russell worked in the family business, Shell Small Engine, and enjoyed boating, racing go-karts, and working on trucks. He enjoyed spending time with family, especially his son, Russ. He and Lacy were also excitedly awaiting the birth of their second son, Garren Wesley Strickland.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Sunday, June 15, 2014. Mike Kinlaw and Rev. Roger Chestnut. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 5:00PM until 7:00PM Saturday, June 14, 2014.
