Linford was born August 5, 1924, in Waco, Nebraska, the son of Harry and Anna Fischer Adams. He married Virginia Huyvaert June 11, 1955, in East Moline, IL. She died March 18, 1994. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He retired from John Deere Harvester, East Moline, in November 1, 1983, after 42 years of service. He enjoyed gardening and dancing with his girlfriend, Gay. His favorite pastime was spoiling his granddaughter, Anna, and attending her horse shows.
Survivors include his daughter, Amy (Jeff) Wilhelm, Shannon, IL; son, Cliff Adams, Alexis, IL; granddaughter, Anna Wilhelm; sister-in-law, June Adams, Beaver Crossing, NE; girlfriend, Gay Speidel, Colona, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; brother, Leo Adams.
