Kathryne May is the daughter of Robert John and Adelaide (Dare) Templeman she first married Barney Scott Floyd (1913-1935) on 13 Oct 1934. He drowned in a car accident in an irrigation canal near Harrah, Washington. He was at the church picking up his younger brothers and while backing up the gas pedal stuck and he went into the canal. He was able to get the two young brothers out of the car and to safety but was too tired to fight the strong current and drowned. He died on his wife's birthday and was buried on the day his son Barney Scott was born.
