Carolyn R. "Lyn" Goss, 84, of Cedar Falls, died at home on Thursday, June 12, 2014.

She was born March 6, 1930 in Huntington, Indiana, the daughter of Thomas "Adam" and Florence (Murphey) Hipskind. Lyn married Robert "Bob" Goss on March 28, 1951 in Huntington.

She was a graduate of Huntington Catholic High School and was a florist at Flowerworld in Waterloo for twenty years. Lyn was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Cedar Falls, where she was a lector and communion server.

Survivors include her husband, Bob Goss, of Cedar Falls; a son, Larry Goss, of Cedar Falls; two daughters, Kathy Hansen of Bedford, Texas and Nancy Buck of Waterloo; five grandsons, a great granddaughter, and a sister, Betty Beverly, of Burbank, California.

Lyn was preceded in death by her parents; a son, David Goss; a grandson, Roger Goss; a brother, Hubert Hipskind, and three sisters, Eleanor Heintz, Christine Affeldt and Connie Sechrengost.

Services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday, June 16, 2014, at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Cedar Falls. Visitation will be one hour before service at the church.
