Margaret "Scottie" R. (Saville) Aborn, 82, of Concord, died Friday, June 13, 2014 surrounded by her family.

She was born in Tothorald, Scotland on Aug. 16, 1931, daughter of the late George J. and Robina C. (Shields) Saville.

"Scottie" came to the United States in 1959 and became a proud citizen on April 20, 1965. She was a member of the American Legion Aux. Post 50 and VFW Aux. Post 8268, Antrim.

She was predeceased by her husband Merle L. Aborn Jr., her son John Greenwood, brothers Dody and Rennie Saville.

She is survived by four sons, William C. Greenwood of Keene, Roderick R. Greenwood of Concord, Michael H. Aborn of Antrim, and James H. Aborn of Washington. Two daughters, Cathleen R. Johnson of North Hampton, and Crystal M. Patten of Antrim. One sister, Cathie Coll of Jaffrey, and one brother Bert Saville of Houston, Texas. Special nieces and nephews. Her pride and joy were her 17 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

There are no calling hours.

Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, June 19 at 10 a.m. at the Holt-Woodbury Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 32 School Street, Hillsboro. The Reverend Michele Bagby Allan, pastor of the United Church of Christ, North Hampton will officiate.

Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.

Donations may be made in her name to the Antrim Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 92, Antrim, N.H. 03440.
