Bobby Ray Griffith, 79, passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2014 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Graveside services will be held at 3 P.M. Sunday, June 15, 2014 at the Lockney Cemetery in Lockney, Texas, with Randall Stapp officiating. Services are under the direction of Seymour Memorial Funeral Home.
Mr. Griffith was born December 25, 1934 in Lockney, Texas to Hugh Duggan and Naomi Clinton Griffith. He married Surina Griggs on April 25, 1953 in Roswell, N.M. He was a rancher and a member of the Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Surina of Seymour, Texas; two sons, Bobby Griffith, Jr. and wife, Lisa of Plano, Texas, and Rocky Griffith of Houston, Texas; 1 grandson, Chris Griffith and wife, Lori; and by three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Joy Griffith on October 26, 2010.
