Mrs. Beatrice M. Hobert 64, of 105 Midtown Towers, a cook, widow of Edward B Hobert, died at 11 am, Monday, at Mercy Hospital, where she had been admitted Saturday. The funeral will be Wednesday at 9:30 am at the Cleveland-Spink Funeral Home and at 10 am at the Church of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart. Burial will be in North Watertown Cemetery. Calling hours will be 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm today at the funeral home.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. David (Sonya) Leiter, Carthage, and Mrs. Richard (Sharon) Loonan, Florida; three sons, Ronald K. Marshall, Watertown, Kirk Marshall, Hornell, and DeWitt (Pat) Marshall, Natural Bridge; three sisters, Mrs. Clara Barry, Watertown, Mrs. Eleanor Corbett, Watertown, and Mrs. Ed (Mary) Hett, Syracuse; 15 grandchildren, and six greatgrandchildren. A daughter, Doreen, died in infancy, and a daughter, Mrs. Carol Berkman, died November 17, 1959, at the age of 28.
Born January 27, 1914, in Ogdensburg, a daughter of William and Mary (Lunderman) Kirk, she was employed as a cook at the V&R Restaurant.
A marriage to DeWitt Marshall, in 1930, ended in divorce. She married Edward B Hobert on October 26, 1946. Mr. Hobert, a retired car inspector for the New York Central Railroad, died March 22, 1974, at the age of 64.
She was a member of the Eagles Club Auxiliary and was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church.
