YORK Lewis R. Reid, 65, entered into rest on Tuesday, June 10, 2014, at York Hospital. He was the husband of Roslyn Reid. He was born February 2, 1949, in Greensboro, N.C., son of the late John and Frances (Jordon) Reid. Lewis was a U.S. Army Vietnam War veteran. He worked as a truck driver and was a member of New Wine Worship Center. A viewing will be 4 to 6 p.m. Monday at the New Wine Worship Center, 155 S. Hartley St., York. A celebration of Life Service will begin at 6 p.m. with the Rev. Melvin Dickens officiating. Burial will be 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. In addition to his wife, Lewis is survived by three children, Michelle Clark of Hillside, N.J., Tonice Glenn of New York, N.Y., and Malcolm Moore of New York, N.Y.; numerous grandchildren; three siblings, Shirley Pringle of York, Benjamin Reid of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Lucille Alston of Brooklyn, N.Y.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
