WHITESVILLE - A long illness ended in death yesterday for Mrs. Myrtle Dickens of Arnett, Raleigh County. She died at her home at the age of 63.

She was a member of Arnett Methodist Church.

The funeral will be held in First Branch Baptist Church today at 2 p.m. tomorrow by the Rev. Wade Webb and the Rev. Vigil Cook. Burial will be in the Cook Cemetery at Arnett.

Surviving: husband, Leonard; sons, Clinton of Oregon, Dempsey of Arnett, Luther of Chicago and Dennis of Swanton, Ohio; daughters, Mrs. Arizona Slone of Grand Rapids, Ohio, Mrs. Virginia Massey and Mrs. Delila Pettry of Toledo, Ohio, Mrs. Phyllis Petris of Mundelein, Ill., and Mrs. Imogene Cantley of Brunswick, Ohio; brother, Quinten Cook of Packsville; half brother, Jesse Bell of Arnett; sisters, Mrs. Mae Lemons, Mrs. Ruby Stepp, Mrs. Mary Taylor, Mrs. Leu Honaker and Mrs. Pink Gibson of Arnett, Mrs. Lilly Young of Saxon, Mrs. Sarah Cook of Packsville and Mrs. Wavey Wyant of Clay County; half-sisters, Mrs. Elsie Massey of Arnett; 46 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

The body is at Valley Funeral Home.
