Emma Paice
Dies at 80

BEAR RIVER CITY - Mrs. Emma Brown Batchelor Paice, 80, of Bear River City, died yesterday in Ogden after an extended illness.
Mrs. Paice was a member of the LDS Church and worked in auxiliary organizations.
She was born Sept.2 1975 in Fountain Green, Utah, a daughter of Cyrus and Emma Swenson Brown.
On Jan 6, 1897, she was married to Charles H Batchelor in Nephi. They moved to Bear River City in 1905. They were later divorced. She was married to George Paice in 1933. He died in 1938.
Surviving are one son and six daughters, Rex C. Batchelor Stockton, Calif.; Mrs. Alvin (Winnie) Jensen, Bear River City; Mrs. Mark J. (Ina) Udy, Fielding; Mrs. Earl (Lola) Jones; Hooper; Mrs. John E. (Emma) Boone, Chula Vista, Calif; Mrs. Lewis (Beatrice) Street Ogden, Mrs. Ava Fay Vernieuw, Ogden; 24 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, two sisters, Mrs. Kate Holman, Provo; Mrs. Mary Holman Bear River City; two brother, Parley and Carl Allred broth of Ogden.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the LDS Bear River Ward by Bishop Vernon Johnsen.
Friends may call at the Harold B. Felt Funeral Home in Brigham City Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and at the home of Alvin Jensen in Bear River City Tuesday from 10 a.m. until services. Burial will be in the Bear River City Cemetery.
