Carl Fabin Felts, Jr., 84, of Candler, died on Thursday, June 12, 2014, at the John F. Keever Hospice Solace Center.

A native of Sarasota, FL, Mr. Felts was a son of the late Carl Fabin, Sr., and Martha Bishop Felts.

Mr. Felts was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Felts was also a licensed pilot, and owned several planes.

He is survived by his daughter, Angela Felts; son, Carl F. "Buddy" Felts, III; and grandchildren, Douglas and Nicholas Lewis.

Mr. Felts will be buried at the Western Carolina State Veteran's Cemetery, in Black Mountain.
