He was a banker w/Fidelity Bank and Trust in Detroit. When bank closed during Depression he stayed on as receiver until about 1939 or 40. Then worked for Maxon Bros selling Grosse Pointe real estate until heart trouble forced early retirement in 1952. Moved to Colorado in 1954 where he indulged his hobby of photography - he loved the mountains. His ashes were scattered over Old Baldy Mountain where Grandma Day's log cabin was. He graduated from Greeley, CO High School 1917.
