He was born April 2, 1927 in Mt. Carmel, the son of Harley Oliver and Vivian Elliott Wirth.
Surviving are a daughter and son in law, Pat and Sam Herring of Olney; a son Don Wirth of Fairfield; and three grandchildren , Katie and Brian Herring and Rachael Wirth.
Burial will be at Mt. Oval Cemetery in Norris City.
