Jeff was a retired Memphis (TN) police officer. In 1994, he was critically injured in the line of duty. As a result of his shooting, he suffered years of PTSD. Ultimately, his injury led him to Christ and he became a Chaplain for not only law enforcement, but all first responders. He authored the book "My Second Chance" where he told the story of his law enforcement career, shooting and how his life was changed afterward. Sadly, Jeff was taken from us on June 10, 2014.
Jeff was rarely seen without a huge smile on his face and a kind word for everyone he met. He devoted his life to the service of God and his fellow man. He spent countless hours ministering to the needs of first responders, placing their needs over his own, all while silently battling his own dark demons of PTSD in his own life.
His life and ministry touched many, and his passing has left a void that will never truly be filled.
