Geneva Hart
Geneva Hart passed away peacefully on the morning of June 28th, 2012, following many years of congestive heart failure. As many knew, Geneva was a strong, determined woman of faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernice and Ernest Pratt Rollyson; Geneva's husband, William Darius Hart passed away in 1990. Also preceding her in death were sisters and brothers, Lucille Napier, Edna White, Alberta King, Clayton Rollyson and Argene Rollyson.
She is survived by her sister, Genese Jackson; son David Clayton Hart; grandson RD (Raymond Darius) Hart; granddaughter, Brandi Couse and her loving husband, Chris; her identical twin great granddaughters, Kinsey and Kayden and her daughter-in-law, Carole Bell Hart.
Geneva was a homemaker and a retired Braxton County School bus driver. She had many friends and enjoyed singing, gardening, volunteered for the local Republican Campaign Committee, and served on the Senior Citizen's Committee. Geneva used to joke and enjoy lots of evening games for many years with her friend, June Crist. Geneva was comforted in recent years by her niece and nephew, Connie and Dave Kreutzer. Geneva's family would like to thank you for your prayers and support throughout recent years.
Services will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, July 6th, at Richard M. Roach Funeral Home, Gassaway, with Rev. Johnny Conrad officiating. Burial will follow at the Hart Family Cemetery, Clem. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m., Thursday, July 5th, at the funeral home.
