Born in Burkesville, KY, she moved to Albany in 1961 and was a homemaker. She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church, Albany, and enjoyed quilting by hand.
Survivors include her husband of sixty-one years, H.P. Myers; their two sons, Randy Myers (wife, Sandra), Carmel, and Terry Myers (wife, Peggy), Carmel; four sisters, Zelma Higginbothem, Louisville, KY, Betty Clark, Birdstown, TN, Eloise Stalcup (husband, Lyle), Burkesville, KY, and Patsy Melton (husband, Roy "Cubby"), Louisville, KY; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, William M. and Zola M. Davis; two brothers, Kenny and Cordis Davis, and a sister, Birdy Scott.
Services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 14, 2014 at Meacham Funeral Service, Albany, with burial following at Black Cemetery.
Visiting hours will be from 12-2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
